17 projects of our Engineering Students were granted a reserach fund from TÜBİTAK.
International E-Parliamentary Youth Session
The second of the "e-parliamentary" sessions, the online platform by the WALD Youth Academy which is established within the World Academy of Local Government and Democracy (WALD) in order to adapt the developing technologies to democratic fields and to increase the participation of young people in this field, was held on May 11, 2022 at Turkish-German University (TGU).
Second Place in the Individual Application Contest
The Turkish-German University Faculty of Law team, consisting of Elif Ece Öner, Selin Çengel, Ulaş Giray Kırmızıoğlu, Begümhan Arat and Elif İkra Savrun, came second in the 8th Bahçeşehir University Inter-University Hypothetical Individual Application Competition.
Culture, Migration and Communication Workshop
The workshop the title of which was “Kultur, Migration und Kommunikation” (Culture, Migration and Communication), and which was a joint event of the Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences of the Turkish-German University (TGU) and Heidelberg University, was held on March 31-April 1 at the SFL Conference Hall.
III. Turkish-German University Animal Welfare Awards
At the Animal Welfare Awards Ceremony organized by the Turkish-German University on December 22, companies that set an example in the field of animal welfare in Turkey were awarded.
TÜBİTAK-BİDEB 2209/A Project Grant Success
Two project proposals prepared by the students of the Mechatronics Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering were granted by TÜBİTAK-BİDEB within the scope of 2209/A University Students Research Projects Support Program.
Scientific Publication and Citation Success
Prof. Dr. Şafak Gökhan ÖZKAN, the Director of Institute of the Graduate Studies in Science and Engineering (now Dean of the Faculty of Science) was ranked in the top 2% of his field in terms of the number of scientific publications and citations in 2020.
TÜBİTAK-BİDEB 2209/B Project Support Announcement
9 project proposals prepared by the students of the Faculty of Science, Department of Materials Science and Technologies and the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechatronics Engineering were entitled to receive support as a result of the applications for the 2021/1 Term of the "TÜBİTAK-BİDEB 2209/B University Students' Industry-Oriented Research Projects Support Program".
TAU Research Laboratories Application and Research Center (ALUAM) in Use
20 volunteer students from the Faculty of Engineering, who completed the online part of the hybrid internship in February, completed the practical part of the internship at the ALUAM Training Workshop.
